We took family pictures last Sunday and I have been to busy to upload..so here are a few of my favorites!

Draw Back!

Can I withdraw my last blog entry?
This week ....was like the first
day of school all over again! What happened?
I bragged on them...that is what
happened...no more bragging!
This week they have absolutely
drove me to a headache....literally..I have had one for the past two days.
Whew!
I hope next week is better.
I think Lyla is teething
again....she has a fever today. Gregg is out in the deer woods...he is
camping out with a bunch of guys tonight and coming home tomorrow evening. I
am
glad he is getting some good guy time...he usually comes back sweeter
when he
does. :)
I can't believe how fast Lyla is
growing up in front of me...she loves to play chase now...she loves to
talk
on the phone...she screams everytime we pass a cow! And today she said
"Daisy
Jo" as plain as I would.
She walks so good now...she can
kinda tell me what she is wanting...or take my finger and get me close to
what
she wants...so cute!! I miss the days when she was little and had that
gummy
grin...but I am so excited to see her grow and be a Big Girl!
Tomorrow evening we have a fish fry
at a friends house..I am so excited! I used to work with her but things
happened
at work and she doesn't work there now....I miss her there
everyday! Work is so
dramatic and crazy...and almost everyone there gets on
my nerves. All the rules
that are made apply to everyone except 2 or 3
people.....nothing seems
fair....and if you gripe...you get in trouble for
griping. So what are you to
do? really? Woah.....back on the good
note.......We are having a fish fry..and I
am so happy to go hang out with
someone normal!
I have been scrapping here lately
too! I started on a photo calendar that I learned to make over on
scrapfreak.com
...they have wonderful classes every month...although I think
they are taking
December off for the holidays. I am also making "Count Your
Blessing's" cards
for Thanksgiving...It is where you write down what you are
thankful for and then
tell everyone at the Thanksgiving table. Here are some
pics....well the
calendars don't have the actually calendar part on them..I
have to order a rub
on...

They do listen!!

This week we started out by seeing if they even remembered learning the letter L...since we had a field trip and then Halloween...but they did...so we moved on to F.
All week we have been learning F...we made F with blocks...we practiced writing F...today we Foiled F's...tomorrow we will practice writing again.

Only because our local school focuses greatly on thier handwriting...they want it perfect....our school has very high standards for Kindergarten...to high really....and it is my job as the preschool teacher to get them ready for school..but on the other hand..our program is saying that children learn through play...so should I just let them play and catch who I can and hope that I talk to everyone before they graduate and go to Kindergarten...or do I do small groups and call them all over to a table and do like a 5-10 min small group time..?

Well I have been doing the small group time...and it seems to be working well....I see the kids on a more personal level and I know more about who knows what and who needs to work on certain things.
We will get through our letters and then go on to numbers...during numbers i will add in coins and learn the amount value of coins....now that we are learning letters...I am incorporating seasons...rhyming...opposite....colors....and sight words.
Whew..they first time I have to teach trig in preschool....I am done teaching...I will go back to school and do something else!
I think what they have to know now for Kindergarten is to much...but I am kinda stuck in the middle....
